Beat midlife acne
Obakki, a Vancouver fashion house, has been making international waves with its edgy-but-wearable collection. And from November 1 to 14, the house's charitable association, The Obakki Foundation, is auctioning signed celeb items from the likes of Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Beyoncé and Nickelback to benefit a well-drilling program in south Sudan. Nail polish made easy. The first thing that crossed my mind when I saw Sephora's Nail Patch art was: No way. Stickers for my nails? But at the urging of my coworkers I tried them, and the results are quite fun, if a little funky. Best part is that there's zero drying time, though the application is a little tricky to master. Try this treatment to beat midlife zits. I suffer from acne (and the onset of wrinkles, sigh!) so I was skeptical of Pro-X Clear Acne Protocol by Olay. Two months later, I can report it works better than many of the medications I've tried, and it's non-drying because it's formulated for adult skin. I liked the cleanser and the treatment in this three-product package, but was less impressed by the moisturizing lotion in third step. It seems unneeded, and in fact left a sticky film on my skin.
