With Valentine’s Day coming up here’s another quickie blog giveaway. You can win this Sugar Cookie hand soap and hand lotion set from Baléa. (We here at the office are envious, because the sugar cookie scent is lovely.) My question to you is: What’s the best date you’ve ever been on (or that you can imagine)?
The rules are the same as last time: To enter, leave a comment before noon (ET) on Friday January 29. You must include your email address (which will not be visible on the site) in order to win.
My best date was first, going to a park in the early summer, and running down a steep ski hill, arms outstretched like a bird. From there we went to a children’s playground and lost ourselves in the slides and swings and climbing structures.
A few short months later, that same date proposed to me in that same playground.
Sixteen years and three children later, we’re still big kids at heart!

The best date ever for me, was last September. My boyfriend and I attended the U2 concert in Toronto, and after we stayed at a hotel downtown.
The concert was great - but the evening was even better: that night, he proposed and I accepted! So I would have to say, that was my best date ever.
Thanks!

My best date ever, was when my boyfriend out of the blue asked me to make a light suitcase for a simple weekend to Montreal, but to my SURPRISE we ended up flying to Costa Rica for 2 Weeks that was in 2006, he had made all the arrangements booked the Hotel and all we had a an amazing time, I will cherish the rest of my life. That was TOTALLY AWESOME, to this day I will never forget how SWEET AND THOUGHTFUL HE REALLY IS.

Last Valentine’s Day my boyfriend brought me a dozen red roses in a lovely vase tied with a red ribbon, then we went out for a wonderful dinner. We hadn’t been dating for very long so I was amazed!

Going out with my husband seems to always feel like the “best date ever”, even after 20 years of marriage.

my best date was my first date with my now boyfriend.
we were suppose to go out on new years eve, 3 years ago, but i ended up with a migraine because i was so nervous that we stayed up until midnight talking online…the next day we went out for dinner at the Fox and Firkin, they had very little in food, no milk, so we ended up with pretty much the only thing in the restaurant, club sandwiches and pop…then we went to a movie…(he paid for dinner, held the doors open) after the movie we went to Tim Hortons and sat and talked and held hands like teenagers, having a tea….neither of us wanted to leave and it was getting pretty late…you know work the next day…that night i was pretty well smitten with him…the next day we met at Mike and Lori’s no frills where he bought me a router for my computer….nothing says love like that….i knew then we would be together forever…

Best Date Ever;
This was not a planned date, it just happened. I was having difficulties with a situationand. My boy/friend just walked with me and listened. He gave me his shoulder when I needed it and offered more support then my own family.

The best date ever is one I haven’t been on yet. It would involve a date who was caring, attentive and enthusiastic as well as quite outgoing himself. He would plan a fun day out like a visit to the Botanical Gardens or a nearby quaint town.

My best date would be one that I hope to have . I have teenaged children and have spent many years taking them to amusement parks now that they are old enough to go off on their own I would love to go on a fun date with him this year to an amusement park and go on all the fun rides!

My best date was on our anniversary. My husband hurt his back and was home from work. He ordered roses by phone and then ordered a pizza for dinner. I was so impressed as he was very medicated. That meant the world to me.

My best date ever was Valentine’s Day 1979….I went on a blind date and absolutely fell head over heels in love with the man who eventually became my husband!

I was asked out on an “un-date”. What’s that? We went out for a couple drinks and a lot of dancing at a place called Juke Box Jive. The music was great and the conversation wonderful. At the end of the evening, I was walked to my door, he opened it for me, shook my hand and left. No expectations, just a great time. It was like a harlequin romance. I was hooked! We’ve been together 16 years now and married for almost 14. The best date EVER!

The best date I ever had was when my boyfriend travelled from Europe to see me on a whim! It was a date that lasted for a week, full of fun and spontaneous moments! All these years later, it still makes me smile!

My best date ever was when my husband and I first started dating. He rented a small canoe on a lake in Ontario and we just leisurely paddled and talked. Relaxed and really truly enjoyed our company with zero interuptions.
