From editor-in-chief Linda Lewis:
"Last Monday, while scratching my head for a topic for this column, I came across something obvious: my glasses. It’s amazing how many times I’ve searched desperately for them, only to find them on my head, on the seat of my chair, by the bathroom sink. If memory serves (which it obviously doesn’t), I forget where I put my glasses at least once a week. Same goes for my keys, which drives my daughter crazy when it’s my turn to carpool. Oh, and my day planner, which I leave lying around in so many spots that it defeats the purpose of noting anything important in it. Then there’s my cellphone, which has been known to ring from the trunk of my car....
I had this whole column figured out in my head in the morning, but ironically, most of it had slipped my mind by the afternoon. I wanted to write about the worry hovering in the back of my brain: Am I losing it? If so, why? Is it a busy life on overload? Or is this just another manifestation of middle age?" >>> Read the rest of Linda's letter here!
